Usage-Based Pricing
Modulr is a SaaS platform that provides access to robots, compute, storage, and AI services through an open marketplace. Users are always shown clear, upfront pricing in their selected local currency before using any service. There are no hidden fees and no blind spending.
How Billing Works
All payments on Modulr are made using standard fiat currencies (such as USD, EUR, GBP, and others). Modulr uses an credit system (internally these credits are called "MTR") to track service usage across the platform. MTR is an internal metering unit only. Users do not purchase, trade, or exchange MTR directly. This system allows Modulr to provide:
-clear pricing in fiat currencies
-consistent usage tracking
-flexible marketplace pricing set by providers.
Adding Balance to Your Account
Users add balance to their Modulr account in their selected currency. Available balance packages are displayed in fiat currency and may vary by region. Once added, your balance can be used immediately across supported Modulr services. Modulr does not automatically charge your payment method for usage. Rather, Services are consumed from your existing balance, giving users full control over spending. International payments may be converted by the payment provider at checkout.
Service Pricing
Service pricing on Modulr is set by independent providers. Pricing may vary based on:
-robot type and availability
-session duration
-compute, storage, and AI resources used.
Estimated costs are always shown before a session or service begins, so users understand pricing in advance.
Payments
Payments are processed securely within the Modulr application after sign-in. Modulr does not store or process payment card information directly. Payments are handled by trusted third-party payment providers.
Refund Policy
-All balance additions are final and non-refundable
-Internal usage units (MTR) have no cash value
-Balances can only be used to access Modulr services
-Accounts may be temporarily restricted if payments are disputed or reversed
